Abstract:To enhance the gripping stability and flatness of PE inner bags during automated feeding in intelligent bonding production lines while reducing equipment footprint, an automated feeding system was designed. Firstly, by analyzing overall adsorption limitations of the PE inner bag and comparing the performance of sponge suction tools placed horizontally versus vertically, a drag-and-drop feeding solution was proposed, accompanied by a gripping actuator designed to coordinate between the sponge suction tool and dual-sided auxiliary suction cups. Secondly, through experiments measuring drag force and adsorption point positioning during bag handling, the optimal pressing depth of the sponge suction tool and the optimal configuration of dual-side suction cups were determined. Thirdly, leveraging the friction-slip relationship between the PE bag and the feeding platform, the dimensions and lengths of the platform were optimized. Finally, the feeding experiment was conducted to verify the PE inner bag. The results show that the optimal sponge suction tool pressing depth is 10 mm, with the dual-sided suction cup configuration (x1=340 mm, x2=190 mm) significantly improving gripping stability and flatness. The 1 345 mm feeding platform reduces equipment footprint by 49.25% compared to conventional designs, achieving the structural goal of ″semi-suspended contact stability″. Across 200 repeated tests, the gripping success rate reaches 99%, with a 100% non-slip performance rate. These findings provide a robust and reliable solution for automated feeding of large-format flexible sheet materials, demonstrating significant engineering applicability.
